Yagate Maken no Alicebell (やがて魔剱のアリスベル,lit. Alicebell the Eventual Devil?) is a Japaneselight novel series by Chūgaku Akamatsu with illustrations by Gekka Uruu. The series includes 7 novels published by ASCII Media Works between September 2012 and January 2016. A manga adaptation by Daisuke Takino began serialization in Dengeki G's Comic magazine compiling up to 3 volumes and the chapters periodically uploaded online on ComicWalker.
The series takes place in the same universe as the author's Hidan no Aria series whereas the story takes sometime after the series. Upon the story's progress through the time travel events, the timeline overlaps with the current Hidan no Aria timeline[1].
The Phoenix Wars (鳳凰戦役), a secret conflict where those intersect to gather "Phoenix Fragments (鳳の欠片)" that can grant any wish. It was an underworld competition where various with supernatural abilities struggle to take for themselves within the peace. One night in spring 2013, a young boy named Seiji Harada happens to get caught in one of those supernatural struggles where he encounters an ESP Girl named Alicebell. Since then, they fight together to wish for the erasure of their powers.
